Do I need to be flexible to start aerial yoga?
Not at all. One of the most common misconceptions about aerial yoga is that you need to be flexible before starting. In reality, many students begin with little or no flexibility experience.
Aerial yoga is designed to support your body through movement using the hammock, which can make certain stretches feel more accessible and comfortable compared to mat-based exercises.
Flexibility develops gradually with regular practice - it is not something you need to already have in order to join a class.
Our beginner classes focus on building strength, mobility, body awareness and confidence step by step, in a supportive and non-competitive environment.
Everybody moves differently, and we encourage students to progress at their own pace.
